I enjoyed the Alter call last night. One thing that stood out to me was when Apostle Julia said your comfort zone will kill you. That statement really resonated with me. From my experience, being stuck in my comfort zone had me being complacent and stagnant for a while. I learned over time as followers of Jesus Christ we have to come outside our barriers. We have to raise to the challenges. Coming out my comfort zone has changed my perspective.

I can completely relate. Over the past year, God has challenged me in many areas of my life. I felt so much security and solace in my comfort zone, until one day, it clicked! That was holding me back so much! I was stunting my growth. Who know how many opportunities I’ve missed out on! Or relationships I could’ve developed and etc…
I’m not completely out the woods yet but I’ve made tremendous strides. I encourage you to do the same, even if it’s baby steps, challenge yourself and watch how much you grow and change inwardly.
